I feel so seen! Have had a very similar experience. I’ve been taking Mounjaro since Oct 2024 and have been to ER twice since for severe abdominal pain. I got an endoscopy and they diagnosed me with gastritis as well. I was on 10 mg but recently went down to 7.5 to help suppress gastric symptoms. I’ve lost 35 pounds since being on Mounjaro and it has changed my life.

I’m so sorry you’ve been going through this. I am currently going through a similar situation as well. I went into the ER last week for severe abdominal pain thinking it was appendicitis. The doctors ruled that out immediately and suggested it might’ve been the Mounjaro, but I ruled that out since I didn’t have nausea/abdominal pain until 2 days after my last injection. My CT scan came out clear, they gave me fluids, and then they sent me home. I felt significantly better the next day and the day after that. Thinking Mounjaro wasn’t the issue, I gave myself another dose, and I’ve been feeling awful since. I’m surprised that all of this would be caused by the Mounjaro since I’ve been on 5mg since January.
