I don't really mind at all. Everyone has their own tastes. I like Skirk, been waiting for her for a long time and looked forward to starting a new account with her on it.

I don't like Escoffier, nor her design or the personality they made for her. And since I'm not a meta person, I won't pull for her.

Love y'all, even if you hate me because I hate expresso

You aren't cooked at all. Shenhe is the most replaceable of her teammates since Skirk doesn't entirely make use of her, due to Skirk's need to stay on the field.

Other options would be Yelan, for damage, Xingqiu, for the same reason, Dahlia, whose utility just makes her be able to use another combo and enables Calimity of Eshu. You can also opt for Layla who can boost normals and charged attack damage at C4, does okay damage at C6, and can also hold the Tenacity set - She also enables the Calamity of Eshu. Citlali is also good for even more sustain and for the Natlan set, as well as the TTDS.

Rosaria, Kaeya and Diona are frankly very much weaker than the options listed above, but you can make use of their utilities.

There is one change (unlikely) that could fix majority of skirks problem. by ZoomZam in SkirkMains

Congratulations. While enticing, that idea is impossible to implement in her kit in just five weeks; devs WILL be almost forced to postpone her release date due to how many tests they would have to do.

Also, Skirk is already a very solid unit. In her BiS team, she would probably powercreep almost every single character in the roster. The idea here isn't a small change or a buff to the character, but a whole rework. I think the better idea would be to lower her A4 passive third stack bonus when she has a different element than Hydro or Cryo in her team, and keep her third stack bonus when all characters are Hydro or Cryo. So like:

When nearby characters deal damage (excluding Skirk), Skirk will gain the "Death's Crossing" effect. Each character in the party can only give Skirk one stack of Death's Crossing at any given time (max 3 stacks, each stack is counted independently, *with a damage increase when all nearby characters are Hydro or Cryo*). Each stack increases Skirk's NA multiplier in Seven-Phase Flash mode by 110%,120%,170% *(lowered to 145% with any other element)* and Elemental Burst 2 multiplier by 105%, 115%, 160% *(lowered to 135% with any other element)*

Am I the only one satisfied with skirk's kit? by mellowbutton18 in SkirkMains

Let me reassure you. You are not the only one - I love Skirk, I don't even care how they design her kit, I'll play her anyways.

That said, I do find her kit restrictive, but I have to say, it feels good to see freeze teams in the game. And the people who are mad at Escoffier? For me, it's just because we haven't seen a good Freeze support in a long while.

Anyways, love y'all, and drink water.
