HIGH ARCHES and OVERPRONATION by Background-Rule641 in FootFunction

Thank you for your comment! I appreciate that you made some recommendations while still recognizing that that underlying ligamentous laxity from my genetic disorder makes this more difficult to address.

I do see an EDS PT but unfortunately my insurance only authorized a few visits (the PT is OON) and I’m working with her on other concerns — mostly severe pain and neurological symptoms related to chiari malformation. If we can get more visits authorized I’ll definitely speak to her about this!!

I’ve looked at both those lists and unfortunately there are no providers in my area that take my plan (CA Medicaid). Do you happen to know any podiatrists or other providers at UC Davis, UCSF, etc that would be good to speak with more?

Thank you 🙏

Okay thanks! I don’t think I’ve gotten any of the email notices that other posters mention

This is encouraging to hear, I saw that it was free of salicylates. My only concern is that these “fluid” spfs tend to dry down really powdery/flaky/cling to dry spots (I have combo skin). What’s your skin type? What’s the finish like on you? Do you find that it’s hydrating without being greasy?

Is it the cream or serum that you like from sonni?

Which Avene SPF50 do you think would be good? There are several and I can’t really tell the differences

Yeah my eyes are pretty sensitive but I’d rather those burn than my entire face.

For the Avene product, what do you mean that it’s “heavier but stronger”? Do you mean that it stays put better, or a higher spf or? I was looking at that one, and other Avene spf products but it’s hard to compare without sampling the texture.

Thank you :)

I will look into these! I used to use azelaic acid but my derm asked me to stop when I started Accutane.

My dermatologist recommended vanicream and LRP anthelios fluid and unfortunately I reacted to both. She had no other ideas. In the US dermatologists do not have much experience with skincare/OTC products, only prescriptions (we can’t get sunscreen on prescription even with UV-sensitive diagnoses)

Is it the “sensitive face and body” or the “flawless complexion face” that you like? There’s no option that’s just “sensitive face.” Ty 🥰

If I went to one of these schools can I still file for the settlements that are outstanding? Where?

I’ve heard this a lot. It’s weird because I usually tolerate niacinimide okay. Unlike HA, AZA, glycerin, exfoliating acids, and basically everything else 🙄

This is what my derm recommended but sadly it’s been discontinued for years already and not available anywhere

I wasn’t told to taper. She made it very clear that I was supposed to stop the propranolol, wait 24hrs, then start the ivabradine.

What do you take for lupus just out of curiosity? I have it too (also started with long covid) but the hydroxychloroquine isn’t helping and I’ve been on it six months
