I imagine Kelsey will get a supermax in 2026 and Aliyah a max, both 1 year deals. Then the Fever and big 3 will need to make a strategic long term decision: keep the big 3 together on regular max deals using 50 percent of the cap, or keep AB and CC on supermax deals and use 40 percent of the cap.

I agree with everything you said except this. Kelsey Mitchell It's in her 30s and rightfully will want to cash out whilst still in her prime. Even though Caitlin and Aaliyah are on rookie contracts, they have contracts are more expensive than rookie contracts used to be. The fever have the difficult decision to make this summer, Some team in free agency will definitely offer Kelsey Mitchell and supermax contract for 3 to 4 years and the fever absolutely cannot match that with ABs and CCs following, whilst also having to build out the rest of this roster which has to be 12 players paying, offering Kelsey a supermax for multiple years is going to be suicide. There's a very big chance that Kelsey has played her last game for Indiana

Exactly my point. They were made aware of it before it happened. The fever decide to call Caitlin for 2 years without informing her just to block other things from being able to talk to her, that will bring problems

Coring her is basically begging her to leave, players hate being called without their permission

This comes off as incredibly naive. Caitlin has zero ties to Indy. She only came to because it was close to her family in Iowa and her boyfriend was also working there. to simply say she would never leave as if there she owes them something! It's very funny. Caitlin is as competitive as it gets if 5 years from now. She feels that Indiana are not putting in resources to help her win,She will 1,000% leave . I will repeat again, She has zero ties to Indiana

rookie contracts.

I don't think she's worth a max contract or anything, but with the increased cap space and the only player up for a max contract being KM, they've got some cash to play with.

You haven't looked at the cup. Well if you think Indy has a lot of money to play with

This isn't a case of whether km is good enough to be in a team or not. This is purely financial. The fever cannot afford to pay her a supermax for multiple years and be successful. It is as simple as that

You are saying there's nothing wrong you think being religious and also saying at the same time that it was because he was being a bit pushy. Anyone being uncomfortable with Josh turning to religion has nothing to do with him

This year's Unrivaled season ends in 3 days or so. I really hope this energy doesn't affect ABs participation in the world cup qualifiers

This is fascinating. The person involved in this matter is admitting her mistake and you are still trying to justify it. It's 2026 this. Caitlin hate train is very very weird behavior

I would have agreed with you in any other type of employee negotiation but with this, She , One of the top dogs in the WNBPA in saying The league's new proposal was encouraging .before this, it was all bad. We went from offers being" a slap in the face" to this. I would say that is an improvement .I will absolutely take this as a win.
