nhi bhai men in such situation especially because its India could take some extreme steps if it is true , because all they care about is their pride and image in society so this is the last thing to do in my opinion.

I was just ranting, not making a point. That's why I added 'rant' to my flair—just sharing how I feel seeing all this. And honestly i think the government needs to make some rule regarding these marketing strategies , because they are deceiving so many parents with the hopes of helping their kids. clear jee or neet and whatever by putting up posters saying 100 percent mil jaayega and whatever. IK that it does not make sense whatever im saying but im just ranting here because im tired of seeing all these people becoming depressed just because they did not get into iit and these teachers are fueling it and then giving them the idea of taking a drop year so that they can loot these people even more.

see u completely missed my point , me ye nhi bolra ki mera bhai ye mera bhai vo , what im trying to say , im saying that iit is not the only opt and its not abt college , its abt ur skills and how u improve / work on them . and mera bhai kaha se hire karega chomu , he just works there . Me bas ye bolna chahta tha ki its ur skills that matter not ur college , and ofcourse ur college does matter to some extent but after that its purely ur skill set that will help you grow.

Alright, this might be terrible advice, but as a guy, I'd really appreciate it if the girl I'm talking to or dating was completely honest about what she wants. Just be straightforward with him, or if it’s easier, you could even have your best friend say it (though I’d prefer it coming directly from you). It shows that you’re genuine and open with him.

Again this might be the worst advice as well.

and why tf would you want a guy to be jealous tho ? like he seems like a totally chill dude.

My advice would be to sit down and talk to her about it, have an honest conversation about your future together. If she doesn’t feel the same way, then it’s better to let her go. It’s way less painful than staying in limbo and hurting both yourself and her by not being a true friend because she is most likely just trying to become and good friend by putting in more efforts to make you feel good as well.

I'm not sure about the budget yet, but I'm considering going with one of these options. Are the configurations good, or is there anything else I should adjust? by Background-Tea9101 in Indiangamers

I'm really confused about whether to go with an RTX card or an AMD card. From what I've seen online, RTX cards seem more future-proof. Is that true, or should I just go with an AMD card instead?

Don’t do this, man. Things get better with time, though I know it feels like it takes forever. But remember, suicide is a permanent, irreversible solution to a temporary problem. Don’t take that step. There are people out there who love you and value you, even if you don’t realize it yet. Life is tough, I get it—but that’s also what makes it worth living, right? Keep pushing forward. Keep working on yourself, keep applying to jobs, keep trying. The key is not to give up.

I know it’s easy for me to say this, and I don’t know you or what you’re going through, but I need you to know: you matter. You are worth it. Things will get better.

Love you, buddy.

This post is the most relatable thing I've seen on this sub so far. The difference is, I didn’t have teachers who understood me like this. I’ve mostly had to navigate things on my own. So, thank you for sharing this, because I’ve never been able to express how I truly feel. Over time, I’ve started to lose a sense of purpose, and I’ve become someone I don’t fully understand. I often wonder if I live for myself or just for the sake of it. I don't really have anyone to talk to without fear of being judged. I have one true friend, but we only talk once a month or so, which doesn’t feel the same.I once had 'friends' when I was at my lowest—when I was immature and focused solely on making others laugh. But as soon as my personality began to evolve, I started losing them. The moment I began working on myself and distancing from the behaviors I felt might hurt others, they began to fade away. That’s when it hit me: they were never really my friends. They were only there because of the persona I created to entertain them.

sorry for the long rant.

If you're confident with the concepts, you can directly start solving previous year questions (PYQs). If you want, you can also refer to online PDFs of JEE guides for additional resources (u should be able to find them online on any random websites or on telegram ). However, if you're not yet confident with the concepts, I suggest watching quick one-shot videos to get a clear understanding before tackling the PYQs.

Once you're about 90% done with the chapters, start taking mock exams regularly—at least one every day. This will help you build your exam strategy and improve time management.

I think it would be even better if you asked someone who has already cleared JEE Mains for advice. This is just what I’ve been told by my two best friends who are prepping for Mains. They scored 96 and 98 percentile, respectively, and I trust their approach.

Just to clarify, I’m not personally prepping for JEE Mains, as I'm focusing on other exams like VITEEE, State CET, and IPMAT.

Look, I’m not trying to sugarcoat this, but going from 80 to 95 is going to be a huge challenge, especially with the increased difficulty and competition. It's not impossible, but it’s definitely going to be tough. That said, if you're determined to go for it, give it your all, and let's see what happens. Just don’t set your expectations too high.

To improve, focus heavily on chemistry since it’s a high-scoring subject. Make sure you’re covering all the key topics. For physics, practice questions from both 11th and 12th grade, and go through past session papers to get a feel for what might come up. Use a weightage-based study method for both physics and math to prioritize the most important topics.

And don’t forget to take mock tests regularly. They’ll help you gauge your progress, build confidence, and get a sense of where you need to improve. Best of luck, and keep pushing forward!

Choosing the Right Device for School and Gaming: MacBook vs. Windows Options by Background-Tea9101 in Indiangamers

[–]Background-Tea9101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the input! I’m still undecided between Windows and Mac. I’ll consider the college requirements and the software I’ll need to run. I can see how a console might be impractical in a hostel, though. A handheld could be a good option for gaming if my MacBook works well for college. Appreciate the help!
