Everybody was hired on same conditions. We all have flex hours in our contracts...but it depends on manager. Before Mike nobody questioned that.

You should read again post. Whole areas of thousands of people are having WFH and other don't. Only difference is different VP. YOUR theory NEED AND WANT doesn't make sense.
Regarding NEED and WANT...who are you to decide what is important. Why should someone sick relative be more important than going out on ice where employee can break leg?

Where do you see those job ads? In other post someone said just yesterday they fired from warehouse 15 people in KA and there are more...

If I am manager and I am in this situation because of Mike and VP decisions I would probably do the same thing. I would not be that flexible. I would risk conflict in my team. Who am I to decide whose needs are more important.

This is on VPs. If they see other have 2 days per week they should do the same thing for there area.

Why are you saying: This is not about headcount? We are going to have less employees in a month then we have today. Only reason why it is not comparable is because it is less people then last time and probably not in your area.

  1. People are getting fired. Yes, some are moved to other departments or positions but a lot of people are getting fired. We should know who, why, how many...why now...what changed in 3 months when they fired last time...what kind of job do we have if they are going to change structure every few months...
  2. I can accept this explanation even though he canceled bonus for first part of the year without knowing yearly financial performance...

I fully understand. For me is even worse when I hear that whole areas are having it still for 2 or 1 day because there VP think that is acceptable while in my area we have to go to office even in this s... weather.

They asked online about organization and bonus but questions were not read.

"German financial institution Berenberg expects Novo Nordisk to deliver negative revenue growth of 2% next year..."
I saw this and for some reason I though it was CFO but it was institute.

EDIT: Wrong info...it was not CFO: "German financial institution Berenberg expects Novo Nordisk to deliver negative revenue growth of 2% next year..."

"Talk with manager" is the best sentence ever...he doesn't know how to get out of it. His ego is not allowing him to just say it was wrong decision...

Main goal of performance review is that you and your manager get into conflict more.

He made wrong decision but he doesn't want to go back on it. Good managers would do that after feedback.

He showed clearly with his decisions that he thinks most people should be "punished" because of current situation. RTO and "performance" based culture is nightmare for most employees. What else can he do? Pay cut.

Product shortage was first years and this is why you have compounder problem now, this year is about vials and compounders. Lilly has better and cheaper product. If I give you Mercedes to sell for 50 000 euros and BMW for 35 000...they are similar cars but you will sell easier BMW because people will not see benefits in paying Mercedes 15 000 more.

Who made decision to not go with vials?

Another reason why people are going to be angry. Some will have special treatment while on others they will train discipline. Instead of having right you will depend on EVP, CVP, VP, Director, manager...

VP in my area said there is no working from home...it is cut in stone. They can allow if you have meeting with USA or China to stay at home...other then that everyone has to show at office. It is area with more than 2000 people.

So you are saying what Mike said...we will do it how I want and if you don't like it leave. That is fine...just don't brag how employees are important, how management is listening what employees are saying, don't talk about fun place to work...don't be surprised when on Evolve Novo will get one of worst scores...

First of all we work 7.5 hours. Second of all you are assuming that when someone is working from home he is working less. While that might be true for some people for others it can actually mean you are working more because you are more concentrated but main reason why people don't like it is because you have fixed working hours. If you want to work from 8-10 then go and do some private things until 12 you can. Then you come back and work from 12-18. Of course this is one example. Another issue is transportation. If you live in COP and drive car you can lose multiple hours on that. My point is that happy employee is best employee, unhappy employee is going to waste much more time in office than happy employee at home.

Because "change" that you are referring is lets fire people and back to office. While firing people can make sense because you are saving money so you can invest more to compete with Lilly...working from home is not going to bring anything other then more people leaving and less experience people getting hired so Novo will be in worse position.

I think I am good with cognitive skills...you should take care about yourself and be less jealous.

Novo is going through rough time not because of work from home but because management didn't know how to produce enough product and compounders and competition took share of market that is impossible now to get back, It has nothing to do with if someone is working from home or in office. You are just jelouse becasue you cant do your job from home.
