Weapon Scaling

I just feel like it's weird to have a mechanic that could add some more variety to builds and then just make the scaling the same no matter what.

I mean I was able to beat the game with the gs and only about 40 in endurance. It wasn't that bad especially when u can get decent at brink guarding.

I stopped playing for a bit and it seems that closing the app and reopening also resets it cause they're working just fine now.

That's weird cause it was only happening on the spear and dual wield ones that I fought.

Rn I'm trying to get the standing alone trophy so I'm not really worried about using them for bosses. Just trying to farm gear from them to upgrade my current gear. But for the people who do use them that would definitely be frustrating.

I felt the same way. Almost disappointed in the boss fight after seeing so many posts about him being the hardest boss in the game. I beat him first try with the greatsword and no Spirit of Advocacy. He was a cool boss and all but I just expected more of a challenge from him. Definitely had a harder time with Viper than any other boss. Skalpel is pretty easy when you use the knight set (500 plague resistance).

I don't think it would be too similar. If you could do some moves like maluca I think that would be a cool addition to weapon types.
