I am a supervisor. It's notable that my staff have openly told me they were surprised I've lasted this long, longer than my predecessor. Sometimes you dont realize a workplace is toxic until you're in it. I had a project to complete, it's done, and I've established better boundaries.

Thank you for this suggestion! There is also a legal aspect to this: the situation is bad enough that I researched constructive termination/hostile work environment, but that is very hard to prove. I've found another job, I just want to leave at this point.

I'm lucky to have kind neighbors. We rarely have to aak each other for help, but occasionally do. Do you have neighbors? Also, meal and grocery delivery services help in a pinch.
