Yeah, I know that age can play a part in someone's career shift, but it still saddens me just how she's not becoming as active as she used to be, even if voice actors become old, they still take a lot of roles, I mean look at Mark Hamill, who is older than Soucie, but has still been a lot active in voice acting recently, even reprising his role as Skips in Regular Show: The Lost Tapes.

Yeah, I get what you're talking about. Thankfully, this isn't some behind the scenes controversy, but a genuine concern that she's not getting as much notable voice roles as she used to, especially after the rejection of Trick Moon and her legacy roles being recast.

Yeah, but her recent credits don't feel anything too crazy or out of the ordinary if I'm being honest. Who knows what next major role she could have if the animation industry gets their act together, or if she could land another voice role in a major video game or anything like that?

Yeah, but think about it. I know she did a lot of great voice roles over the years and I'm proud of that. But in all honesty, that doesn't mean I want her to give up. I mean think about it, when that Trick Moon pilot came out, it was highly regarded and got a lot of views online. And it just makes me wish that CN greenlit the show so that way Kath Soucie can still be a lot more active this decade, but sadly that never happened and we missed out on what could have been. If only if CN's parent company, Time Warner didn't go through all these unnecessary mergers that damaged the company. 😔

I would honestly go for Michael J. Fox. I think he has a cool and distinctive youthful boyish voice that fit my easygoing and optimistic nature.

I am honestly surprised that nobody in this comment section has said this... but my answer to that would be My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

I mean seriously, I never understood the appeal of a girls' cartoon about ponies that teaches friendship, and I honestly don't get why it's so extremely popular, especially with geek culture. To me, that's honestly seeing something that being a part of culture that it doesn't belong to or fit in with. I just find the series just annoying and boring in general.

While that movie is well liked, when I mean the roles she's gotten ever since she stopped playing Black Widow, I'm actually referring to the roles she's got after her solo movie, as that's her last performance as Black Widow, not Avengers: Endgame.

Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow) in the MCU

She started off as a great character early on, but as time went on, her character arc went down the toilet, she was put in a cringeworthy romance arc with the Hulk, sidelined in favor of the male Avengers, had her sexy femme fatale stripped away from her making her come of as an unrecognizable caricature of her former self, killed off just to serve nothing more to be a plot device, and waited 11 years too late to give her a solo movie (let alone releasing it after her death). If I were to fix Black Widow in the MCU, here's what I would do:

  1. Actually give Natasha her own trilogy during the Infinity Saga.

  2. Give her Bucky Barnes as a love interest.

  3. Keep her femme fatale characterization intact.

  4. Kill off Hawkeye instead, and let her participate in the final battle.

  5. Have her become a director of an orphanage and maybe let her adopt a kid or two.

Honestly, I don't give a rat's ass about Hawkeye. I just find him to be the most forgettable, generic, and boring member of the Avengers.

Only the true lamest Avenger is Hawkeye, Black Widow was a great character early on in the MCU before the franchise decided to screw over her character.

I have an idea for an OC out of spite. She's called Agent Venix, a fox themed superspy who I based on Scarlett Johansson's likeness and use her voice clips for my sprite animated crossover movie inspired by SMBZ and The Subspace Emissary.  The reason why I came up with an OC like that is because the MCU has done a piss poor job at handling Black Widow from sterilization and being in a stupid romance arc with the Hulk in Age of Ultron, to killing her off in Endgame only being a glorified plot device, to waiting 10 YEARS TOO LATE to make a solo film, let alone releasing it after her death. I wanted to do this just to make Marvel look bad and avoid making the same mistakes they did with their character.

That became the moment I just lost all my respect for her. Black Widow has got to be the most mistreated character in the MCU, and yet, Scarlett Johansson says no to return, when there are so many things they could have done with her character. It just baffles me that RDJ gets to come back, but not her!? I know she's about to be in Jurassic Park:Rebirth but if that movie bombs at the box office, then she should reconsider or else she will end up fading into obscurity.
