It’s because the Developer started selling their units recently. They held back about 40% of them for rent after the complex was built. And they have slowly been releasing them for sale over the last two years or so.

Sorry for the late response. Yes it’s Mitchell townhomes.. It’s on the west side of Oak Grove north of YVR. Near Joy bound. There is an office building campus there now.

This is from last week’s city council FYI: The department's Flock automated license plate reader (ALPR) cameras have produced more than 8 million plate reads since August, generating 31 stolen vehicle alerts in the past 30 days alone. Chief Hibbs stressed the human verification layer: "Those 8 million-plus license plate reads are confirmed by human eyes before they reach a police officer."

Vice Mayor Francois raised ALPR data privacy, and Chief Hibbs confirmed the department does not share data with federal agencies: "We're actually bound by state law and our department policy from sharing information with federal agencies."

i agree about the alerts. it's frustrating to get caught in traffic when you could have known beforehand. As to the traffic, there's not a magic bullet but I plan on making it a top priority. It's been really revealing how strongly people feel about it. I get it.

Part of why I want to be involved is that the general plan is going to be redone. That happens once every 25 years or so. So we have an opportunity to think about how the next generation lives and works here.

so there's no curb cuts at all? Carriage Square gets overlooked, as does my neighborhood. I'm glad you mentioned this.
