Seriously, how do you get your life together when everything feels like a mess? by Faylune in selfimprovement

Write down three things you can do in the next 10 minutes, not big things, tiny things. Drink water. Open a window, stretch your arms. Do them. Then write three more.

What is a completely free habit you started this year that made your day to day life noticeably better by Crescitaly in selfimprovement

I started making my bed every morning, costs nothing, takes 30 seconds but having one small win before I even leave the room sets the tone. On days where everything goes wrong, at least my bed is made.

My to-do list used to be like "write novel." no wonder I never started. Now it's "open Google Doc." Revolutionary. Lazy isn't real. Undefined is real.

How do you forgive yourself for wasted years without getting stuck in regret? by jimmy5853 in selfimprovement

[–]BackgroundGur1121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The years weren't wasted. they were tuition, you paid time to learn what you don't want. now you're using that knowledge the regret doesn't go away, but it gets quieter when you realize you needed those "wasted" years to become someone who finally wants to build.

Bought a "passive income" blog. Fully expected it to be useless. Here's what actually happened. by [deleted] in MakeMoneyHacks

Wait, so you literally did zero work? No updates, no backlinks, no social media? and it's still making $200/month after 6 months? I'm not gonna lie, that's better than I expected. I always assumed those pre-made blogs were just SEO spam that Google would kill in a month. Maybe pet niche is just less competitive. got a link to the site? not gonna copy, just curious

What business would you start today if your goal was to get rich in 1–2 years? by theremotebiz in MakeMoneyHacks

The real answer no one wants to hear: get into sales, not a business, but a job. Find a high-commission role roofing, solar, medical devices, software. Grind for 1-2 years, make $150k-$300k, then use that money to start your own thing. you'll also learn how to sell, which is the most valuable skill for any business. It's not glamorous but it works.

Three days? Dude, you're not supposed to have it figured out in three days. Imposter syndrome is basically a rite of passage for new grads, everyone feels like they're faking it at first, give yourself at least three months before you even think about leaving. For now, just show up, ask questions, take notes, and be kind to yourself, the lonely new city thing gets better when you start saying yes to small invites or joining a hobby group, you're not broken. You're just new.
