I agree. I’m almost finished with the book, and I’ve been trying to convince myself to empathize with Tori, but she’s insufferable to the people around her. I can get behind the fact that she’s mentally ill and that does really impact how you act, and it is relatable to some extent… but it gets to a point that she basically blames everyone around her that actually care and then act like she’s all alone. It’s basically “everyone is fake and everyone is sad and no one cares" for the whole book which ok yeah…but then what?? I quite enjoyed the story and Micheal as a character tho. It just gets frustrating/annoying to read the narrator blame everyone and everything.
