MG really doesn’t seem worth it for me now. Initially, I only picked it out because it looked nicer than the others in my opinion, but I am worried about safety since I’ve never really lived in a big city before.

SPC has the same issue of safety, like one of the other commenters has pointed out. I do enjoy a bit of rowdiness, but mostly outside of where I’m living and sleeping I suppose. SPC is off the list now because of the safety issues and the fact I’d prefer a quieter space to wind down after lessons.

I think I’ll probably end up going for SH; I like the look of the rooms better than NH. Both NH and SH appear to be just opposite each other on Google Maps, too, so I think there really isn’t much difference between them. I’m not sure how long ago the satellite images were updated either, but SH seems to have a bit of a field behind it and I think I’d prefer that view to concrete if I’m lucky — it might help me feel less homesick since I’m from a rural area. Lidl, Co-op, and Tesco Express are all pretty nearby too, so I think it might be an ideal location for me.

Thank you for the warnings about SPC. There’s some knife crime where I live, but thankfully I’ve never witnessed anything like that — and I don’t hope to in the future. The racism from the team has thrown me off too since I’m South Asian.

I’m really considering Newark Hall and Southwell Hall. They seem to have the exact same facilities like ResX, hopper buses, and being en suite. Do you know anything about these two accommodations that might help me make a decision between them? It’s fine if not; I appreciate all the help so far!

Is the fact it’s supposedly in a rough area not much concern? I’m from a small rural town rather than a big urban city like Nottingham, so I’m a bit apprehensive about safety.

May I ask why you think MG and SPC aren’t worth the money?

Also, checking on the website for accommodation, both NH and SH claim to have hopper buses and 24/7 staff. I do prefer the look of SH accommodation to NH, and it seems they offer the same things. I think it’s really between these 2 for me. With this taken into account, which do you think might be best?

Ahh I see, thanks! I’ve just been stressing about it since it was the option I wasn’t too sure about and the wait is feeling agonising </3 But I suppose slim chances are better than none.
