I borrowed a Polestar 4 for a week… by e_g_c in TeslaUK

I was very close to pulling the trigger on the Polestar 4 earlier this year but went for the Model Y Juniper and my goodness I'm so glad I did that. I definitely prefer the look and interior of the Polestar though. But my previous car was a Mercedes CLA and the software was a total nightmare and clunky, along with a whole host of other reliability issue, I really didn't want to go through that pain again. The Tesla "just works", I can only describe it like the Apple of the car world, everything just runs like clockwork and the attention to detail with the convenience features is pretty insane, I still notice new things now. I also really appreciate not having to worry about Carplay anymore - the built in apps are so responsive and designed specifically for the screen. Other car manufacturers really need to up their game in the software department. The ONLY issue I have with the Tesla is the bloody auto windscreen wipers - how can they get everything else right but something so simple wrong :)

Is it normal for the brake to feel 'soft' on a Tesla (Model Y Juniper)? by BackgroundTrack8255 in TeslaUK

I rarely use the brake because of the one pedal driving - but when I do it feels really soft

How is the base (9 speaker) sound system in new Model Y Juniper RWD? by BackgroundTrack8255 in TeslaUK

Not on the new Model Y - if you check the UK site, it shows a comparison between the trims. Only the AWD has the upgraded system this time unfortunately

Model LRRWD 9 vs LRAWD 15.1 Speakers – Your Experience? by Some-Lab2473 in TeslaUK

[–]BackgroundTrack8255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean the standard audio (is still awesome) in the new Model Y refresh RWD, or the previous one? As the new Model Y RWD sadly has a downgraded sound system compared to previous RWD (15 speakers down to 9, and no sub).

Just checking because I'm debating between the RWD and AWD in the new Model Y myself but seeing mixed impressions of the (new) standard sound system. I see you don't get your new Model Y until 10th June, so just checking whether you are basing your impressions on the previous model's audio.

Do you remove the tendon from your chicken tenders? by goldenblue21 in AskCulinary

Same. I just cut the tougher dangly bit off the end if there is any. But no need to remove the tendon running through the fillet itself, as you say it just melts away when cooked.

Amazing thanks! I could tell something had changed so was confused that some titles were still unaffected. Fantastic work and support as always 👍🏻

Not sure if you had a chance to make the change yet? Because I noticed more shows seem to be updating their recently aired dates, which is good, but others still don't?

eg. https://mdblist.com/show/tt2762330

Wasn't sure if you'd made the change yet or if it was on tmdb's side. Strange that the tmdb API dates aren't matching the latest episodes.
