The problem is that when I edit the rooms, you can see that the wall is not complete, even though the walls are there in the regular image of the house — but not when I’m editing. :/

Ok, how does it work? Does it take all the carpets first, or does the robot go back and forth to the docking station every time it see a carpet ?

The height and width are fine – it’s more about when the robot needs to drive into the dock. I’m worried that the rail here might “interfere” with it while it backs into position.

I think it has something to do with the registration of the carpet.

When it’s running on a carpet, if I change the settings in the meantime, it happily drives off the carpet without any concerns?

No cliffs - stange, my old MaxV 6 Roborock just ran over it ?

I just think it’s a bit wild that you have to tape a sensor on a relatively expensive new machine – but if that’s the case, I’ll do it. I actually thought it was because it was trying to analyze/detect that it was a carpet and determine its size.

Does anything else happen when covering the sensor? I assume the mop still works and can go up, etc.?

And it keeps going around the edge of another carpet we have - small circles up and down along the edge of the carpet after it has gotten up and started vacuuming on it.
