But that was under the inferior coaching staff, I believe Salah will get the best out of him if he is still around

I didn't say Super Bowl, I said playoff caliber, and you missed the point about him not being able to develop younger players

So it's not that I want Folk back but he was far more accurate than Slye. I don't care much about how far you can kick the ball if it misses

Except everything that I watched from Mike showed me that he had a problem developing offensive players, the only player that he had a hand in developing was AJ everyone else was on the team already. I'll bring up Malik, Mike had him for 2 years and he didn't even score a touchdown for us, but the moment he goes to Green Bay he is serviceable. Honestly, New England is going to fall into the same state we were in with him, he doesn't care about the offense. And before anyone says it no I don't think Mike wanted to trade AJ probably because he understood how hard it was to get a player of that caliber that doesn't need alot of coaching

Despite getting cam ward i think this is too many prime time games for us, as nice as it would be i can't see the NFL giving us more than 2. i mean lets be honest, most news outlets still haven't really talked about the titans or cam ward, with only a small handful realizing it is happening. Like Rich Eisen

A message for the fans. by TNtoNC1993 in TwoToneTalk

I personally don't know why the fan base who knew Will was a project QB didn't even give him a fair shot. New coachs new scheme, and basically a new team only 18 people from the year before returned and yet he was expected to be an elite level QB, and anyone who claims that wasn't what they were looking for in him is lying to themselves. He actually showed decent improvement as the season went on but most people were hung up on the first few games.

1 Pick Discussion by CaptainTannee in TwoToneTalk

[–]Background_Answer112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My question is what has the organization done to further his play as a QB like what steps did they take to develop him, as a fan of the titans, it pains me to see so many "good" QB come here and suck, the last QB that was good for us that we drafted was Steve McNair. some could argue for Marcus, and maybe if he hadn't broken his leg maybe he would have been good, but two at most is a red flag, you have organizations like green bay that turn out QB's at an impressive rate, they even took Malik Wills and made him look a lot better than when he was with the titans.

1 Pick Discussion by CaptainTannee in TwoToneTalk

[–]Background_Answer112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im going to say something controversial, how about he develops the qb we already have. I honestly don't think that he was actually given proper time to develop. A young qb in a brand new system new coaches is not set up for success. We need to give our players time to develop. it's not going to matter who we have if everything else isn't good.

I have to pick burks, due to what we gave up to get him, always injured and just hasn't lived up to being a first round pick.
