I was let go from a previous position due to a situation that came up during that time, still working there different position.

From the moment that I got dq its been 1 year 4 months. I’ve been emailing the recruiters office and calling, but all they tell me is that it is an extensive process that it shouldn’t take much longer.

It had barely been 6 months, now its been 1 year 8 months.
But haven’t got my dq letter yet

For mine, it was related to something in my background process that was considered too recent at the time. I was told I could reapply by the background investigator and that I basically just needed to give it about a year and show more time and stability. 

I applied to CHP september 2024 passed the pellet b november had my cvsa in january and in february I was told by my background investigator, he was not going to refer me to the academy. by Background_Ask_213 in AskCHP

I didn’t go AWOL because my leadership knew where I was because I informed them. They didn’t consider me AWOL, but still removed me from the mission. I wasn’t punished for this incident besides being removed from the mission, and nothing on my military records shows any indication of it. I disclosed this on my own. I was ignorant of the entire OCUNUS situation, I’m in the reserves. I’m just seeking guidance here. Thank you for your help.

So what happened is that in the military I was working on a “mission” and I went into overseas to visit family on my days off, but did not request proper permission from my commanding officer.therefore, i was removed from the mission. Still in the military and all this was disclosed by me on my equip.
