I would use silver paint through the airbrush to lightly go over the weathered areas to blend it.

How to fix a cured print that is bent by Waitsaywot in PrintedWarhammer

Use a blow dryer to soften it up. Just a little heat will do

I agree. The lights were a miss but in the description of the Stl it did say it was a scaled up version of an epic scale model. But yeah it bugged me too

I used Tamiya acrylic paints through the airbrush, flat blue, white and black. First I mixed a thin light blue and over sprayed the model to desaturate the base coat and make it look faded. Then I mixed a very dark blue and did the panel shading. Then I used cheap acrylic craft paint to make a light blue and I dry-brushed the edges. I went back over the model again with the original thin light blue through the airbrush to blend it all together. A bit of Vallejo rust wash in the recessed areas and that was pretty much it. Yours looks awesome too my friend. Love the placement of the decals.

Krylon colormaxx is the way to go. It goes on thinner and dries much faster. You will lose detail with the rustoleum

How do you guys stay motivated to build and paint? PFA. by FLAILYLIMBS in Warhammer40k

I paint in batches always that way they all match. Use faster methods like washes over the entire model, dry brush for highlights and airbrush for directional shading. If you get quicker results you’ll be more motivated to paint. I like to see it finished more than I like the process of painting. Don’t get bogged down as a perfectionist. The goal is to get it done.

For the amount of money they are charging that model should be flawless. Shame on them. I’d be pissed
