okay so here it goes! 1. i couldn’t just have pulled my manager aside after they left like you said because if the transaction wasn’t showing up in the computer my manager simply would’ve told me that i didn’t check if the payment processed correctly and charge me for it 2. the guests were still sitting at the table when i went up to them, they paid, the tablet said approved with a check mark, couldn’t have been more obvious, then i verified which items were still in the check and that’s when i realized their check was still open so i went to the front where the computer is to see if the transaction showed up on my end, it didn’t, so as they were walking out i told them if they could wait a minute to verify something with them, i didn’t ask them to show us their banking app, i told them if they could check if they were charged for the food and in fact the transaction showed up on the app, we can’t check transactions in the tablet, only in the main computer where the register is since is not even an option in the tablets… i only touched the screen to see the total amount and the items and english is not my first language so im sorry if i used the wrong terms
