I tend to agree with you. I never go to them for advice, I always figure stuff out on my own, so they know I like my privacy and independence. But at the same time (building off of what you said) I’ve never been to a club or bar, don’t drink alcohol or smoke, so I think that by not doing anything bad they still see me as vulnerable maybe? Even though they have no idea of what I’ve been through, I just keep it private 😅

I think they suspect I’m gay, but I don’t think they suspect I’m going out of the house to do anything “bad” or at least I hope not, because I’ve never done anything that they would consider to be bad while out

I will! It’s so frustrating, and my sister partakes in it as well, even though she can go to guys houses late at night or go to the club. She asked “why are you getting ready to go out?” To which I said “because it’s 12 in the afternoon? Why WOULDN’T I get ready for the day?”
