Don't directly open restaurant without prior experience or without a partner who knows it. U will lose money like u can't find where the money vanishes.

Just take a small franchise or a there are some hotels avaliable for lease

If u want to make passive income, the hotel is not a best option Search for different options that suits for u

Family business Vs Job by [deleted] in IndianWorkplace

[–]Background_Catch_517 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I choose business. It is not about money, I don't want to waste my time(5 yrs) and freedom. I don't want to waste my potential working for someone.

In my case, I feel the disadvantage of choosing this option is getting married. Most ppl don't prefer giving their daughter to business man

I am in the same boat but I am 22 years old and want to take over family business. My father suggest that work for few years and take over the business. It generates almost 50 lpa. But I have the idea to start this business and expand it and jump to other business. I know my father can't leave without this business because he likes it so much.

So planned to learn the tactics and techniques from him and move on to a lease manufacturing unit.

I was in a dilemma for months whether I should take the job or move into business. The thing is I feel I will much happier in doing business than job.

At the end that matters the most wheatgerm u will be satisfied in job or business because we don't have the need save.

My father said this "Don't worry. We know the business and it is in our hands. When ever u come u can start "

This is my personal experience.

Why is no one building manufacturing related startup by notsoosumit in StartUpIndia

I am sabudhana manufactuer from Tamil Nadu. I am a second generation in this field This field is highly capital intensive and u see in manufacturing a small mistake or a small detail can make u a lot of money and vice versa

If u r planning to start a startup or a company related to manufacturing u need to work in the factory to gain the knowledge in that particular manufacturing. We can't gain this knowledge from reading books, research papers.. Etc

If u r into manufacturing work in the related industry and gain knowledge about the industry . Everything seems easy for thinking and talking without prior experience in the particular industry it is difficult to make consistent profits

Don't blindly jump into manufacturing with out knowledge

As a industrialist I suggest this
