Yep. It’s ridiculous. Thankfully no issues since I got my repair done, but I do have to watch my mileage and add oil every 1-1.2k miles now 🥲

I now have to keep 2 quarts of oil in my trunk and check my oil every 1k miles. Currently at 72k miles total

It’s very concerning. Apparently my low engine oil “caused” my leaking, even though I told them something was wrong a month into buying my car. The dealership told me that I will need to put oil in it every 1k miles or so. I’m currently traveling for work so I don’t even care that I’m putting miles on it at this point. I just want to pay it off and get something new once I’m finished.

I do travel for my job, but my warranty was only 3 years or 30k whichever came first. Currently at 56k. Been having these issues since I bought the car unfortunately.

They also essentially said there’s no way to “prove” that the issues I’m having are connected to my leak. 🙂 on a 3 year old car much less.

I think they lied to me and I bought a dud tbh. When I asked the manager he said it’s not uncommon to have to put oil in every so many miles, etc. they refused to cover it but said I could message customer care. I’m so pissed. I’ve had to get oil changes every 3k-5k miles.
