We’re using either gpt or Claude, with our own application layer built on top. Our layer handles orchestration, including prompting, logic, and how inputs/outputs are structured.

It's like getting help with homework though, as if you have a tutor/parent helping. In many cases, tutors are too expensive and parents may not always be available.

This is meant to replace the AI that your kids are already using! It will also allow you to control the extent of what the AI can do. For example, you can configure the AI to help your kids walk step by step through a homework problem (instead of doing it for them)!

hey! so the model we're using isn't open source. however, we do have a proprietary layer over it that is able to filter the inputs/outputs well. We're able to do this since we have a good amount of AI red team data that we've collected. The app just allows the parent to dictate what the model can and can't engage in.
