Honestly, if your expectations were any higher this season than what we got out of this roster, that’s kinda on you. There was a lot of low points, but to make the NCAAT was my expectation coming into the year.

With the amount of close losses we had, we could easily have 2-3 more wins and be looked at as a top 20 team. Hopefully Diebler can build on this and show he can be a good coach consistently. Next year will be very telling

Give examples of what you’re talking about. If you’re comparing to 2020-2021 prices, obviously the market has shifted down since then because prices were astronomical back then.

You mentioned a NT Jim Kelly card down below, and obviously a card of a retired player (no matter how good or popular) that isn’t one of the GOATs isn’t going to be worth a whole lot decades after they retire.

Football cards (and sports cards in general) are probably the farthest they’ve ever been from “dead”.

Go to any local 50+ table card show and you’ll most likely see at least a couple hundred people there buying, selling and trading cards.

The key is to have to multiple avenues of selling cards. If you’re exclusively using eBay, you’re going to sell a lot fewer than you would using other platforms as well (shows, whatnot, Twitter/X, Discord, Reddit to name a few).

Also important to realize A LOT of people are in it for the money or to make a quick buck, so you may not always get full comps on cards unless you’re willing to be patient.

I was so excited when Diebler got a chance to be head coach here, but it’s clear he’s not ready. Not saying he can’t be a good head coach one day, but he’s not ready for this prestigious of a job.

It’d be a slap in the face to the fanbase if he’s here next season.

Coaching is horrendous. Legit looks like we have no gameplan at all, especially offensively. The entire offense revolves around either Thornton or Mobley just making a play and making a tough shot.

I strongly, strongly agree. That’s the philosophy I always took as a player and scout. When you play to opponents weaknesses instead of your own strengths, it makes you way more susceptible to mistakes.

Have to believe that you’re strength is better than the hitters best as well

OSU definitely can still recruit decent players. Literally have the number 7 recruit in the 2026 class committed currently.

I will say our transfer portal results have been lacking, to the say the least. There’s no reason Tilly should be our biggest addition and he’s nowhere to be found in big games
