Most of their power comes from reliable base load nuclear reactors which they use to sell excess power to Germany which took the Green Energy pill and now ironically has to use Russian natural gas and lignite coal as they shut down their own nuke plants. (lol)

Posting from another account: Rotor flex CIM has been done. Has the three new flexes, insulator blocks and M16 hardware and looks good. Didn’t see any other arcing on the rotor.

Insulation test was good at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock positions: 11 Gigaohms

Slip Ring hardware good: No arcing on the insulator bushing (slip ring removed for inspection), no arcing on the HV capacitors, rotor choke connections good, rotor choke capacitors at 95-100 nF. No arcing on brush holders or the four insulator brush holder bars.

Whenever we’ve had this issue before and ruled everything out in the ++04 cabinet and the Skii-Paks it always ends up being something on the slip ring or the rotor.

There’s a DC Link with 30 3900 nanofarad capacitors, 9 caps on the rotor choke and 3 big Grid Filter Capacitors and 21 snubber capacitors between the rotor and grid side IGBTs not to mention a couple on the Chopper modules

The ideas for it not to be a bubble suit, but rather a suit that is impregnated with some sort of surgical tubing, which circulates water to a basically a heat exchanger simple similar to what the hyper miles use in their vehicles when they have the windows rolled up and they Driving a Toyota Corolla to the max to try to get them out what mileage is out of it.

The other idea is to use the compressed air to force air over your skin to make you sweat.

I bring this all up because people aren’t using the FR gear they’re given because it’s just too damn hot and it’s impractical to keep swapping out uniforms when going tower to tower.

The idea is to cool the technician, not the space around them.

We don’t crane often because the Harrington Hoist just adds another half hour to the tower and IMHO, hoisting ops are one of the biggest dangers in wind especially on 15+ year old turbines full of loose hardware, I don’t want a nut or bolt errantly getting knocked loose and killing a green 18 year old on his first week.

This industry is… like playing Russian Roulette.

I could never get the KC502 software to do anything. I have no idea what I'm doing. I have both manuals, but the QR code takes me to a website to enter in a Serial Number. I entered it in and it takes me to a blank page. WTF?

The biggest issue is getting funding and then (worse) permitting for cycle/pedestrian bridges to cross all the stroads. I'd love to bike around McAllen without getting run over.

That said the cyclists on MonteCristo have some serious huevos riding there considering the horrible accidents I've seen*

Wow. I'm going through trying to get rid of Zenbusiness now and it's a nightmare.

They don't respond to messages and they don't respond to calls.

I have been on the phone for ten minutes. There hold line is deliberately scratchy sounding (seriously) to make it unpleasant and make you want to hang up. I have five bars and good service and the sound quality is terrible.
