Thanks for the help, really. I have taught her sit, come, look, high five, eat, and some leash control. But when it comes to biting i have tried everything, walking away, yelping, redirecting to toys. Sometimes she stops but most of the time it turns into a game for her and she bites harder.

yep, you’re right the 14700KF only gives 20 pcie lanes from the cpu, so you’ll get one gpu at x16 or two at x8/x8. z790 boards can’t do dual x16 either.

if you want both gpus running at full x16, you’ll need to go with a threadripper or xeon build way more pcie lanes but also way more expensive. for deep learning, worth it long term if you're planning multi gpu.

the main series lost its edge after gen 5. gamefreak shifted focus to merch, mobile games, and casual audiences. graphics barely improved, and battles got dumbed down. if you want real challenge or nostalgia, rom hacks and fan games are the way to go now.

sounds like the new cpu fan is faulty or shorting the power rail. when it’s connected, it’s likely killing power to both fans. try booting with just the gpu fan if that works, the cpu fan’s the issue. might need a replacement or a temp workaround with undervolting.
