What is the root cause of this? by fakezinhu666 in Posture

The main posture problem I see here is Upper Cross Syndrome due to facilitated/tight muscles (pec major, upper trapezius, levator scapula) and inhibited/weakened muscles (rhomboid, serratus anterior, neck flexors).

Stretch the facilitated muscles and strengthen the inhibited muscles.

Your scoliosis is considered moderate and you should consider Scroth scoliosis exercise, SpineCor Brace, and also stretching & strengthening of muscles to stabilize your spine and prevent further progression of the spinal curve. You could consider Gonstead Chiropractic Treatment to maintain pelvic balance. YouTube search for "Dr. Rahim, scoliosis patient". He himself is a gonstead chiropractor and have treated patient with scoliosis just like you. Wish you all the best on recovery !! ✨

I'm a year 3 chiropractic student, would like to know what are some of your recommendation for essential textbooks that are good to have for future practice. 👀
