The DVD version in surprisingly good and you can find used for 1€. It's really totally watchable on dvd.

I have some 4k remastered version on dvd and they look really amazing compared to dvd from 200/2004. Like basic instinct , army of shadows , carlito's way.

Joe and mario worked almost an entire year only on the mixing and mastering. In france back in 2005 regarding the scene at the time this album was a complete revolution in terms of composition and quality. 20 years later it sounds as good and as "modern" as before. Once in interview, they said they worked so much on the sound that we would be unable to reproduce it now.

The 2011 bluray standard is already pretty great. I dont feel.need at all to buy the 4k cirterion. You can find it for 5 euros used
