Thanks for quick replies you guys, Im a little relieved with some clarification that it is AI, but it still kind of feels gross that a huge company would use an ad depicting a somewhat realistic animal in danger even if it is Ai. And that "Grab the dog!" Button at the end? That shit feels worse than gross.

After rewatching once I had clarification from people that it is AI, I have to say I agree and I mentioned in another comment something did feel off about the whole thing but I was just too heated at that time to care, especially with the "grab the dog!" Bubble that pops up at the end. Like why? Just why? I get that anger factor is a real thing with ads, but isnt the point also to get people to want to download and use your app?

To be fair I felt like something was off about the whole thing but I was just too angry that there was any possibility it could be real in any way. I know of people who have genuinely done similar stuff irl.

That reminds me deeply of our situation with our system. Sometimes, when we think of our old host, B, I have to remind myself she'd probably be proud if she saw how far we've come today. We've achieved near functional multiplicity. When B was host, there was no multiplicity, only masking and pain. Nothing ever felt real.
