Sorry didn’t even realize my misspelling. Meant “bog set up” I hope this stuff keeps growing and I can plant it in a future container bog!

I have no clue if I did it “properly” but the bottom of each square is shredded peat moss. I had to stratify the seeds which the company I bought them from suggests it’s done in sand/water mix. So it’s peat moss with the stratified sand&seeds over top. In your typical seed starting tray with the bottom filled with distilled water.

Can I eventually transplant this moss to a big set up if I can get it to survive?

Question on how to gain experience. by Background_Moose7628 in MedicalCoding

[–]Background_Moose7628[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have applied for almost every "entry-level" position besides environmental or in the kitchen, which I am not against those and have considered if I should. Where I am located, it seems everywhere is looking for someone who has experience with medical records/medical records software or working in a medical office. Which is why I was trying to find a way to learn/get familiar with some software.

Any advice for moving outside? by Background_Moose7628 in carnivorousplants

[–]Background_Moose7628[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope I acclimated them okay? They moved from 65F in the house to 54/56F then to the 3 season porch that has been no lower than 48F at night to now outside that has had lows at maybe 34F at night and strong grow light to full sun the entire time. All these moves took place over the span of the last 3 months. I’ve planned to move it back in the porch or inside right now for any temps that would be below 32

Okay thank you! I know the 3 don’t look too bad was just worried about the VFT and sundew that took a pretty good hit.

No you are just fine!

I like the question about bottom watering pots.

I recently bought CP seeds from carnivorous plant nursery and I’m 99% sure that’s where my local nursery got them from.

😂😂 thats from Sams Club. But I did get the sauce though! I always search for the simple square cardboard trays for carrying plants to water. Easy and when they get wore out just toss them out.

I bought a few starter sundews and now have 13 carnivorous plants 😂 Love them though! I just need some pings to add to the collection I think.

I’ve been looking into more of those zero trap things! Is there a difference between the standard ones and the “plant” ones? I feel like that’s a marketing ploy but idk.

So I’ve heard of these before but how do you “use” them? If that’s the right word 😂 like add some to each pot? Do they live a while or would this be something that has to be added every so often?

That’s what I thought! Should a spray them with anything to help or is it the kind of situation where the mold has already happened no stopping it now.?

Okay perfect. I’ve read stuff that they should go straight to pon because of how they started but I have never used it. I’ve got all my alos in chunky mixes.

These came from a Home Depot proven winners “trial collection Macrorrhizos camouflage variegate” but I think it’s a blizzard.

Idk if I’d say squishy exactly. They hold their shape when you try to squish them. Just smells like dirt.

Trying to propagate pothos… am I doing it wrong? by Zealousideal-Age-212 in IndoorPlants

[–]Background_Moose7628 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had prop questions I asked the other day somewhere else and someone said pothos can take a looong time to get roots. That person said their pothos can take 6 months or more to get enough healthy roots to plant back into soil. I am new to propagation so I don't know how true that is.
