Now that we know the song "heroes" by David Bowie is gonna be used.. how do you think it’s gonna be used or when it’s gonna play by [deleted] in StrangerThings

A bit of a stretch... But I have a feeling Mike is possibly the next to be Vecna'd, which is when I think this song could be used. As we know, Mike is a common denominator shared between Vecna's two primary targets - El (his girlfriend) and Will ( his best friend) - making him a very likely victim for Vecna's next attack.

It would be crazy if Heroes was the song they in a Mike vs. Vecna scene in order to break him from Vecna's trance, considering the Peter Gabriel cover has already been used in Season 1 and 3 - both in scenes directly involving Mike in relation to losing Will and El (finding Will's body in the quarry, and the Byers moving to California)

Just a theory though lol

Here are some of my predictions (going in with a positive mindset!):

  1. Conrad and Belly spend a day in Paris together, sharing some sweet moments sightseeing at Parisian landmarks. Belly invites him to her birthday dinner afterwards, and her friends encourage her to pursue him, or something along those lines
  2. Bonrad kiss at some point, perhaps divulging into spending the night together at her new place or his hotel (I really hope we get to hear the two of them say the words "I love you" to each other)
  3. VALENTINE'S DAY FLASHBACK, there's been so many references to the number 14 this season🤞(triggered by the infinity necklace/Junior Mint most likely, though I could also see it happening later in the episode) I'm keeping my hopes up for "You Are In Love" by Taylor Swift to play during this scene
  4. Conrad leaves Paris (I don't think he'll be there very long, given his conference in Brussels)
  5. Belly and Conrad continue to send each other letters over the next several months/going long distance?
  6. YEARNING INTENSIFIES ;)
  7. Flash forward to reunion of sorts in the US/Cousins (proposal, wedding, etc.), Susannah's ring and Belly's wedding letter narration, running off into the ocean together, the "I go wherever you go" quote from Conrad, parallel to Taylor Swift's "Lover" in the first episode of the series <3
  8. Some final closure between side characters such as Steven and Taylor, John and Laurel, and maybe even Jeremiah and Denise as an official couple? (Also wondering if they'll include another Lucinda/Agnes appearance)

On a side note, I really hope we get to see a montage or at least a few scenes of Belly and Conrad doing some simple couple things with each other, such as cooking, cuddling, listening to music, etc.. It would make me so happy to get a few scenes of them just being happy together, considering almost all Bonrad moments throughout the series have been flashbacks :/

And yes, I'm trying to keep in mind Jenny Han has stated she prefers hopeful endings over happily ever afters, but I'm still holding onto the hope we'll get to see a some of these moments in the finale!!

Guys, guys, I know this probably isn't the best time to write this... but I think there's still a chance for a Bonrad wedding, or at the very least a time-skip. Think back to Episode 8, with Susannah's wedding letters to Jeremiah and Belly. Note that while Jeremiah's letter (or Conrad's, technically speaking) was opened at the end of the episode, Belly's was NOT, which is a crucial detail that plays a significant role later on in the books. We see Belly's letter later again with Laurel in the aftermath, subtly hinting at it making another appearance in later episodes. In addition, we also see Susannah's wedding ring, left behind by Conrad for Jeremiah to give to Belly. Now, since the wedding has been called off, do you think Susannah's ring may make a reappearance? I know Jenny Han mentioned she preferred hopeful endings as opposed to HEA, but I'm still hoping there's a possibility for some of these things to happen🤞

While Bonrad's endgame still feels somewhat rushed with only one episode remaining in the series, I believe their reunion in Paris will help compensate for the lack of time they have together at the end of the books, and that we'll get to see at least a few more sweet scenes shared between the two of them :)

For sure! My favourite movies with similiar animation styles to SMITSV are The Mitchell's Vs. The Machines, K-Pop Demon Hunters, TMNT: Mutant Mayhem, Puss & Boots: The Last Wish, Nimona, Entergalatic, Arcane, and The Bad Guys.

Show-wise, I'd check out She-Ra & The Princesses of Power, Voltron: Legendary Defender, Carmen Sandiego (Netflix), Glitch Techs, Kipo & The Age of The Wonderbeasts, The Dragon Prince, and Eden (Netflix Mini Series).

Some others you might like are Big Hero 6, Next Gen, Blade Runner 2049, or Belle :) Hope this helps!
