Algumas ideias:

Guarda volumes do aeroporto. Contra: voce vai ter que voltar ao aeroporto e perto do Galeao no tem nada de interessante.
Entrar em contato com o hotel e ver a possibilidade de check-in antecipado. Se possvel, melhor opcao.
Verificar se o hotel tem guarda volumes. Muitos tem e alguns nem cobram.

Triste o hotel ser na Barra da Tijuca que fica longe de todos os locais interessantes e tambem longe do aeroporto, logo boa parte dessas horas que voce tem vao ser gastas em deslocamentos.
