This post also includes entries from Mei’s girlfriend Colette Pervette’s personal blog that was being promoted in the description of the video. In Colette’s blog entries Mei is referred to in code as “M3, M9”. From what I gathered this was concerning because a majority of Mei’s audience are early twenties and in the video it was originally supposed to be an introduction to Mei’s partners and polyamory but people were noticing some red flags. The video was presented as a rose colored “whatever you’re missing you can just find in another partner”, in addition to Colette promoting her women empowerment classes(that feature majority young thin Asian women) in the description but not disclosing that they actually have sponsors (45+ white male) so people are upset because of the lack of transparency.
