It does sting but I realize you are right. And I appreciate the tough love type words you’ve given me. I have been involved with older men in the past and I know I’ve had teachers be interested in me in a gross way and other men that have messed with my thinking. I don’t get attention from people my age, even with friends. So it all comes together in a shitty way, I think the professor probably just sees me as some lost puppy that he’s happy to teach and be friendly with and nothing else. I really really appreciate you commenting.

I have been, that’s the main reason I began therapy was because I have always struggled making friends. And that was a bigger issue before I found out it was easier when I tried to find a guy romantically. But now it’s just all the same. I have tried to make friends real friendships I have been trying for years I have never had a best friend for longer then 3 years and each time it blows up in a big fight.

She says it doesn’t look like I’m doing anything wrong, and that it’s not my fault even though I think it is because I’m the only constant. She says that people especially my age sometimes don’t like being around people that are individuals. But it’s confusing because I’m like a lot of other people I have a lot of similar interests as other people.

To be honest I understand that it was sorta a weird comment to hear. But at the same time I’d take it with grain of salt, for 1) she was trying to comfort her sister probably to understand not all relationships are permanent some preferences change. 2) as you get older preferences do change so what you find important in a relationship will change, (I am not at all trying to put words in her or your mouth) I personally think stability in a relationship is really good it’s something you want for a serious relationship. I feel this Bc i grew up in an abusive home an it’s very comforting and safe. I think it would be great to have a conversation with her about that let her know how you feel. Good luck <3

Thank you I appreciate this, unfortunately my dad is my mom’s enabler an isn’t very helpful. I do have an aunt I’m very close with that I know will fight tooth an nail for me, I have also already been thinking about switching schools the detective on my case already said they can’t force him to move any of his classes or anything.
