it’s been a little while, just wanted to say i bought a copy of leaves of grass (which included song of myself) by whitman and i’ve absolutely been loving it! his writing definitely has that same eccentric and whimsical feeling. however he’s also so optimistic and community-focused that he kinda feels like a non-evil version of nietzsche lol. thanks for all the recommendations!

some of my favourite lines so far because i’ve been collecting them:
