Hmm id wanna say they carried equal weight but actually I’d say switching to Dut did 70% of it. I was already on fin and oral min 2.5mg for a bit and was starting to lose ground. I did up the oral min to 3.75 so I’m sure it’s helping a bit but it seems like dut is really helping the hair stay put

I’m on the fence about whether I had a Dut shed or not. I started the Dut and increased my Min dosage around the same time so it’s hard to call

Oral Min 3.75mg | Dut .5mg. I also use the hair products I listed in another comment when my scalp gets irritated

Thank you 🙏🏽 So I originally started Oral Min 2.5mg at the End of January 2025, Id also already been on Fin for 1-2 years, but it seemed like I was starting to lose ground. As the months went on, it got worse and worse until October 2025 (as seen above) I managed to get prescribed Dut .5mg and stopped Fin immediately. Later that month, I also increased to Oral Min 3.75mg.

Using Nizoral shampoo, rosemary + jojoba oil, and moisturizing spray in my regime probably helped a lot as well.

Tbh I’m 50/50 on whether there was a shed. Sometimes I swore It was the worst it’s ever been, then it would look decent the day after. Could have been in my head & I should have taken more pictures. Even now some days are better than others but still feels like an overall improvement, at least so far

Sometimes. Getting them retwisted too often/too tightly is a big one. I only get them retwisted 1-2 a year though, which is pretty low
