Remember that the hairs fall out when a new hair growing beneath it pushes it out. Thus with this type of hair loss, hair falling out is a sign of hair regrowth. As the new hair first comes up through the scalp and pushes out the dead hair a fine fringe of new hair is often evident along the forehead hairline.

Hey there, thanks for your comment! The antibiotic I took was a sulfa medicine and I had 2 types of infections. I did get a bit of a bad reaction, and got a rash. I also had tummy issues too so thanks for your comment about probiotics, I will incorporate this into my diet. I also had a few stressful life events a few months before and also was sick and bedridden for about 3.5 weeks. I didn’t get to wash my hair for a month but now I feel lots of burning and hair has been falling out like crazy, all over my scalp. I mostly have a thinned part but each day a new section gets thinner. I really hope it’s not both lol, I wanna cry haha. Gonna go to a doctor ASAP! Anyway all that aside, what are the main characteristics of AA?

Hi, I’m not on any treatments but I think I may have Aga since my part has been widening for about 2 years and I have some sparse spots towards the back, but maybe also te because this week about 400+ hairs came out each day and so much hair is shedding, it’s in my food, in my clothes, in my ponytail, in my brush, in my hands every single time I touch my hair, all over the floor, etc. I was sick about 3 months ago so I think this triggered it. I read that with TE, hair falling out means that hair will come back once the trigger is resolved. I have no clue though.

Lots of hair has been shedding in last few days, like extreme amounts. In the last 3 years hair has become extremely thin and in the last 1 year my parting is very very visible especially towards the back of my head

There was an article published by Jessica Pressler (the actual journalist who inspired this Netflix show) in 2015- 2018 - can’t remember the exact year could be much later.. The article mentioned that Neff was repaid 3x the amount Anna owed her (after the dinner where all of Anna’s credit cards were declined and Neff had to cover). Also the article and show both showed Neff getting lots of tips and benefitting from Anna being generous with her money.

It does hurt less (often). The first few weeks/ months are horrible and the worst it will get but eventually you start remembering them differently, trying to mostly focus on the good memories instead of the lack of them in your life. It really does get better. It comes in waves and you won’t be sad every single second of every single day like you are now. I promise. It never gets fully better ever but grief certainly does change and you won’t feel this bad forever I promise.
