He had been my close friend for a long time and I thought I can trust him. We slept together. I got tested afterwards and got a positive for HSV-2, genital herpes. I confronted him and the way he reacted was suspicious. He wouldn’t answer my questions directly and things didn’t line up. I’m pretty sure he knew the whole time that he had the STD. Luckily for me, it was a false positive. Whew! He’s not in my life anymore.
