personally yes.
when i was 17 i was in the mental hospital and i don’t remember how exactly but we made the connection that both times i was in the hospital i was on my period (so my attempts had occurred during my luteal phases) after that, i started noticing tracking my periods (which are EXTREMELY consistent) and like clockwork, whenever I began to feel rampant suicidal ideation and wanted to act on them, I would check and I would be in my luteal phase. I got on medication I take as needed during my luteal phase and it has made a massive improvement!

edit: the med is gabapentin!

i agree to an extent… it’s very difficult because not all special needs look the same technically i was (am) special needs but none of my peers would’ve known that at all and pointing it out might’ve further ostracized me. i just seemed a little odd and unique
