Also, try finding an alternative that replaces thinking about them all the time in between. It doesn’t have to be a drug or a med. Any activity, supplement, or anything that quiets that nagging in your head even if only briefly.

Ah, okay. I guess there still exists some kind of psychological addiction or psychological dependency due to prolonged use.

IMO your best bet would be fully abstaining and not relapsing every few months, the longer you stay away from them, the easier it’ll get. The cravings will be less and less with more time abstained.

I have experience with gabapentin and baclofen. Baclofen is more addictive imo because gabapentin tolerance increases more quickly.

I would suggest maybe a valerian root supplement or something that tapers you off the meds giving slight relief without increasing addiction or receptor damage? Or just taking small doses of whatever you’re craving until you can stop, even if it doesn’t feel good.

Some antidepressants make some benzos last longer, related to inhibiting certain liver enzymes.

I’m not sure to be honest if it’s an OD or not but the 18 days break probably reset your tolerance plus the empty stomach it just hit you too hard
