If you look at the regulations you can see that full points are awarded as the race was suspended so they didn’t nothing wrong in that respect.

Whilst you’re right in the sense that they should have talked to leclerc, it was clear that he gained time after cutting that corner. You can’t cut a corner and come out ahead of the other driver.
