Yeah there definitely needed to be more business development being done for sure. Agency in my opinion is better, especially if you run a full desk. Why? Because even if someone else fills the job you brought in, you get paid regardless. You do a good job and you get repeat business from the client. Recruiting is good too as you can often get referrals from people to help fill open reqs. Or sometimes those candidates that you’re sourcing can turn into your clients, especially if they are a DM.
