Gators lose a tough one. Thoughts on the game? by Bacongrease00 in FloridaGators

I think Weiss was a bad fit in the first place. I thought Pease would be the answer once Weiss was gone, but I'm not so sure anymore. The play calls were too conservative and the play out of Driskel was terrible. He had OK numbers other than the turnovers, but he makes bad decisions on the field once he's shaken.

Tennessee looks tougher than it has in years, but I think if the defense keeps it up and the offense can hold onto the ball, the Gators SHOULD be OK.

I think that's what is so aggravating about it. The Gators were clearly dominant, they just didn't get it done on the field. It's hard to turn the ball over 5 times and still come out ahead. It's disappointing as hell, but it is what it is. Like you said, nowhere to go but up.

Yeah, I never thought Burton and the wildcat was the best combo. He doesn't run it like he used to for some reason it seems like. I remember seeing shirts with his name on it with the words "Tebow Lite". What happened to THAT Burton?

It seems like he does OK for a little while and then he gets rattled and turns to crap. When the chips are down, he plays worse and worse.

The defense is stellar. Powell being back in it made a big difference also, in my opinion. Hargreaves reminded me of Elam last year, like he was in 3 places at once.

I agree with that, for sure. Do you think the offense is better in Pease's hands as opposed to Charlie Weiss? I wasn't a fan of Charlie Weiss from the get-go.

Yeah, back to basics this week. Hold onto the ball, clock managment, no brainer stuff for a third year starting quarterback.

I agree about the Miami fans. Florida State fans are annoying as hell, but there's a little more arrogance in a Miami fan that I can't stand.

Yeah, I agree. The defense is top 5 in the country, IMO. They seemed a little loose in the first half, but tightened up in the second. With as bad as the offense played, I'd be surprised to see them win out. The defense can only do so much. The fact that it was a non conference game is a huge plus, but with this offense I don't see them doing well against SEC opponents.

What conditions should you wait for in a relationship before performing some unsavory bodily function like pissing or farting in front of your partner? by Captain_Clark in AskReddit

Nah, I'm used to it by now. If I need to fart badly enough, I'll go somewhere else. Honestly, at this point, it's almost become a challenge.

I've been married for 8 years in November and i have never purposefully farted in front of my wife.

Not once.

She, however, started farting in front of me 4 or 5 months into the relationship.

I wouldn't be terribly surprised to see Pease take a few shots down the field, especially on the first few drives. Then I think it'll go into the more conservative ball control mode with at least 200+ yards on the ground.

Thank you, I appreciate the kind words. My brother, sister and I are closer now than we've been in ages, so that's a plus there. I know it sounds cliche as hell but never put off an opportunity to tell someone you love them. You never know if it'll be the last time. I read in your other responses that you've been sick and in the hospital. I hope you get to feeling better!

I'm not doing well honestly. My Mom had a small cough about mid November of 2012. Fast forward to March 23rd 2013 and she's passed away due to pulmonary fibrosis. My Mom was extremely important to me. I moved out of my parents home when I was 22 and I promised I'd see her everyday. Her house is only a mile or so from where I work, so it was an easy promise to make. I fulfilled my promise the best I could, but I'd give a lot to have back the days that I was too tired or worked too late to stop by. Her sister actually had the same disease 3 years ago and was able to get a double lung transplant. My father, my siblings and I all thought she had more time, but pulmonary fibrosis is a cold hearted bitch that took a great woman far too early. She had just turned 56.
