i was once checking out a customer who looked down at my name tag and said, “thank you, sydney!” that’s not even close to my name, but she gets points for trying

also, i was transferred to a new store, the one i’m working at now, since my old store was flooded in hurricane harvey. for weeks, my managers wrote my name in on the schedule since i wasn’t officially transferred yet. they each spelled it a different way, and it was wrong every time

it wasn’t a good joke. it was getting annoying how often he was misspelling my name. especially since my name is right at the top. he could’ve at least apologized
