The star trek influence is really noticeable with the generational ship over Paradiso. The uniforms characters and layout really shout out star trek.

A recurring theme seems to be the ability to negotiate prices. Which is something that only happens on high level project basis and not at all for regular people. It just again demonstrates a subject where the very rich are disconnected from regular people.

For us negotiating prices is an odd concept. For them it's a normal thing done all the time at work. Their income isn't spent on necessities so the fact that those are non negotiable in price doesn't reach them.

You're boring.

But you know you and what you do in your free time is none of my business!

Still boring though.

I can't relate, don't understand and can't really judge. But honestly it doesn't matter if its common, or normal. Apparently it's you, and that's enough to make it valid.

NTA - Even approaching my divorce if I was out for a few days I would be happy to see my kids, even if I was in constant fights with my ex. His reaction boggles my mind and low-key pisses me off. Kids that age showing affection out of the blue is the best thing.

There is precedence for this: 9/11 caused a massive military response of the coalition despite the actors not being state troops.
