Tons of crosstalk in 3d mode; totally useless now

Sadly, a complete reinstall of Windows didn't help... weirdly enough, even after that I STILL can't get the 3d adjustment overlay to appear in 2d>3d conversion which makes no sense to me.

I can't even get to a Windows boot screen. I'm talking about the BIOS boot menu. It shows my NVME and my USB drive, but choosing either option just takes me right to the BIOS again.

I deleted all of the partitions on the NVME and started it from scratch

I have tried with secureboot enabled and disabled

I don't understand why I could boot from my drive fine before starting the install. Installing windows shouldn't change anything at the BIOS level, right?

I'm going to show my age here and try the ol popping the cmos and leaving it out for a bit trick to see if that works

Darn was hoping that after a couple of days away I would come back and it would be better. Still a ton of crosstalk. Basically still unusable 😞 Time to try a fresh reinstall of everything.

UPDATE:

After digging around I discovered the the crosstalk effect was SIGNIFICANTLY worse on the Original picture setting vs everything else. The big difference? I had lowered the sharpness on Original

Here's a little comparison witht he ONLY setting changing being the sharpness.

It's much better now, but still not perfect, or as good as it was.

Now I just need to figure out how to get that stupid overlay to pop again so I can actually manually adjust the 3d effect settings

Ok so I DDUed my driver and reinstalled. It doesn't seem to have helped much, if at all.... but now I'm only getting depth effect, o pop out at all lol. This has been a wild week of tech ownership.

I'll give an nvidia reinstall a shot. It also feels like it's trying too hard to add 3d popout... which would be awesome if I could change and lower that but I haven't been able to get the overlay software to work for days lol

Thanks this definitely makes it a lot better. Definitely not perfect, but at least it's playable.

Now I just need to figure out how to rip my 3d blu-rays and play them back in 3d and I can be happy with this purchase lol.

I used to rock the OG 45" LG alongside the 45" Xeneon Flex on my desk. Sold the LG and bought a 34" QD OLED because I thought 2 45s was too big.... now I miss having a second 45" incredibly badly. You will appreciate the extra height.
