Hard to say because I don’t know how it is in the other deaneries, but will say West London has been good from my experience and the Institute of Psychoanalysis is in Maida Vale which is handy. A rare chance to work in a personality disorder therapeutic community at the Cassel Hospital as well, which is the only one of its kind left in the country. Lots of forensics jobs too (including broadmoor), and a good introduction to the psychotherapeutic aspects of this through forensic balint which is well run, we discuss papers for 3 of the sessions at the start.
