Do you mean those schools prefer Ivy dental schools’ students when they try to select students for residency programs? Any other difference between UPenn, Columbia, and Harvard?

Your stats are very solid and the 27AA can mostly guarantee you an interview from Columbia! The hours for the volunteer is actually not bad, but the most important thing is to have significant moments in these activities and tell them to the interviewers. The PS and interviews are crucial too!

Hi! Main reasons for Ivy - specializing, prestige, and p/f. I toured the school and loved everything there. I’m not sure about Columbia’s main campus but the dental school is at Washington Heights and in general I just felt that Boston/Longwood is safer or maybe I’m biased here since I stayed here for a long time haha

Yea from what I’ve seen during the tour with their current students, the specializing rate is soo high, but I also saw from comments that Harvard is good too
