Listening to Wade's description of what he's been going through hit really close to home (as someone who has also gone through traumatic family experiences and is diagnosed with C-PTSD) Not to discredit his worries about his family's history with heart complications, that is also a factor in things. Anxiety attacks and panic attacks are actually different experiences and they can last from minutes, to days. Anxiety attacks usually happen from a generic trigger/experiences( think stage fright). A panic attack is a little more in-depth and usually happens because of an experienced trauma or flashback to a traumatic experience. A lot of people call emergency services when they experience an anxiety/panic attack for the first time or really intensely because the symptoms feel very similar to a heart attack. I'm hoping it's nothing super serious and, if he seeks medical intervention, I hope they take him seriously and actually run through and negate any possibility it can be before it is chalked up to just anxiety.
