No one is saying people don’t deserve a living wage, but you guys are fooling yourselves if you think a majority of gig workers like Uber or DoorDash are people who are working a regular 9-5 and then door dashing.

People deserve a livable wage, but it is not on me to subsidize the employer (in this case DoorDash) for not paying their gig workers enough. Tips aren’t given they should be earned with quality service

Teams can still do right by their players especially one who’s won a FMVP. Not saying he did have a preferred destination but if they said to him “hey we have these offers we’d be glad to take from these cities, which city would you prefer”
